    The El Paso Municipal Police Officers’ Association sadly announces the passing of Retired Captain Luis "Louie" Barba #37, who passed away on March 30, 2024, at the age of 89. Retired Captain Barba served with the El Paso Police Department for 31 years, from October 1957 until his retirement on July 11, 1988.

The Agreement passed by an overwhelming 97%, the highest in the shop's modern history. The new contract contains historic economic gains for Clariant members across all classifications.
